Kelly has taught and directed in Shakespeare & Company's nationally recognized education programs for eight years, empowering actors from ages seven to twenty to embody Shakespeare's language and stories with ferocity and joy. As a graduate student at Boston University, she has been an Instructor of Speech Communication, and a Teaching Assistant for courses including Dramatic Literature, Directing, and Acting. She also served on the faculty of the Boston University Summer Training Institute, a pre-conservatory program for high school students, where she taught Acting and Devised Theater Ensemble.
Kelly has coached actors of every level of experience, in a variety of genres. She has a special interest in and knowledge of classical texts, with more than a decade of experience teaching, directing, and performing Shakespeare.
